The Comox Valley SPCA, Comox Valley Land Trust and the Keep It Living estuary campaign benefited recently from a surplus of funds from the Ruth Masters 90th birthday party.

Why all the fuss about the Courtenay River Estuary?

Paul Horgen – Special for Keeping it Living Awareness Campaign
So what’s the big deal about our estuary? On Tourism

When tourists/visitors approach the city of Courtenay from the south end of the island, they are greeted with the usual signs of booming city life. The Visitor Centre logo guides people to the Visitor Centre. Let the discovery begin. Behind the strip of commercial businesses lies the Courtenay Airpark/Courtenay Riverway Walkway.
